Descripción:
All four clans battle over whether or not HollowClan and CaveClan should be joined together. The sides are split not by clans, but by beliefs. In the battle:
-Shadestar is killed by Cloudstar. Scorchflower avenges her by fighting him. In her dreams, Scorchflower had seen this moment many times, and had seen a tree fall in the background. She pushes Cloudstar under it, crushing and killing him.
-Wolfmoon is killed by Sootheart. Jumptuft avenges her by disfiguring his face and body, making him useless.
-Pebblepaw is killed by Blacktooth.
-Puddleskip is killed by Ravenflight.
-Sunwhisker and Ravenflight are killed by Cloverstar using Stormfeather's body as a puppet.
-Whitefeather is killed by a TangleClan cat as revenge for Ashstar.
-Ratfur is horribly injured, but refuses to leave his mate alone. Snowstorm improvises and treats him in the middle of battle.
-Crowpaw is killed by a HollowClan cat. His siblings and HollowClan warrior Darkshine gang up on his killer and avenge him.
-After Cloudstar's death, Boneface offers Goldfur a permanent home in HighClan. She thanks him for the offer, but declines, saying that her clan needs a leader, and she plans to lead them. Boneface finds this admirable and encourages her.
That night, a mass vigil is held for those who lost their lives. Scorchflower and Lilystar share a quiet moment sitting with Shadestar for the last time.
