The Treaty of Brest-Litovsk was a treaty that the Central Powers forced Russia to sign to push them out of the war. This treaty gave Germany large amounts of Russia's land such as Finland, Poland, Baltic States, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania. it was between the Central powers and the new Bolshevik Russian government.
