What: battle between natives tribes and American settlers in the Ohio River Valley
Why:
Cause-American settlers wanted the area and the British were giving aid and support to native tribes to disrupt settlements in the region.
Effect—this was the final battle for control over the northwest territory and caused more problems between the Americans and British on the western frontier.
