The Queendom of Boron is attacked by a fleet of battleships of unknown design accompanied by a flotilla of Paranid galleons.

The attackers chase the Boron back to their home planet, and the Quendom lays in ruins. What they don't destroy they take over.

Whilst awaiting for orders from the home planet, the Argon fleet is attacked by a smaller fleet of warships, among them were some spaceships of the Paranid. The decision is made immediately, and once again the Argon are involved in a major war. This one comes to be known as the Boron Campaign.

This alliance with the Argon comes just in time for the Borons, as the attackers are ammassing a large force and just about to launch a major attack on Nishala, the Boron homeworld; it is only with the assistance of their new Argon allies that the Boron are able to repel the attack in an huge battle over the skies of their planet.

The new race becomes known as the Split, since the involvement of the Paranid in the attack results in a profound rift between Argon Prime and Paranid Prime.
