3 mar 1909 año - Mary Mallon
Descripción:
Mallon, a cook known for her dishes, caused several outbreaks of typhoid fever due to her being an asymptomatic carrier. After cooking for a family in Oyster Bay, Long Island, the family got sick and called in George Soper, a sanitation engineer, who tracked Mary down and tried to convince her to get tested, but was met with aggression. Reinforcements later took Mary forcefully to Riverside Hospital, an isolation hospital on North Brother Island.
