Bacon's Rebellion was a rebellion in Jamestown, led by Nathaniel Bacon. He led many indentured servants and farmers into Jamestown, many angry at Governor William Berkeley for solving their problems. Native Americans were attacking them and Berkeley was making no move to stop them. They marched into Jamestown and burned many of the buildings. The rebellion quickly fell apart when Nathaniel Bacon died from dysentery.
