According to Rafferty, most children understand their gender at age 4 (Rafferty, 2018). I like to think of this time of my life as "Gender Dysphoria 1.0", because I was most certainly not sure that I was a boy or a girl. Marked on here is my 4th birthday. Though this is not a particular day I remember, I know it is near the period where my gender dysphoria began.
