6 ene 1994 año - DSM_IV Redefines ADHD
Descripción:
The fourth edition of the diagnostic and statistical manual of mental disorders: DSM-IV, establishes 3 different subtypes that formed the basis of structured diagnostic interviews of multiple informants using rating scales and validation of the diagnoses. The 3 subtypes were the predominantly inattentive type, the predominantly hyperactive-impulsive type, and the combined type. In addition, it was also concluded that ADHD type symptoms could exist into adulthood and that it was no longer seen as just a childhood disorder.
