Moses is mentioned in the famous Exodus. He was an “adopted” son of the Pharaoh's family. He was there because his real mom sent him off in a basket on a river because she wanted to save him since Israelites were being killed at the time. They were being killed by drowning in the Nile River. However, she made sure that we would travel down the river safely so she assigned his sister, her daughter, Miriam to follow him down the stream. Then, at the edge of the river the teenage daughter of the Pharaoh found him and decided to raise him. Even though she knew that he was a Hebrew child. It was probably because of the way he was dressed and his skin color. That’s how he was raised as an Egyptian in a royal family. However, he only found out about who and where he really was from as an adult. His sister told him. He was of course to young when he was sent down the river to remember Miriam so it was as if he met her for the first time and she confessed that she is his sister. He was quite overwhelmed by this information. However, he completely lost it when he saw a man whipping an old Jewish man. He then killed the whipping man by pushing him off the cliff he was standing on. He then ran away because he knew that he could not stay there anymore. However, when he did come back it was to save all the Jews from slavery. He did that by spreading the ocean so they could walk there. It is said that Moses died in Moab.
