1 ene 1400 año - Christian Dualism and End of Ceasaropapism (1400)
Descripción:
A very important idea that was set forth by St. Augustine; the religious authority of the world should not be present in the same person as the emperor of a kingdom. This was extremely important in later Latin Christendom where the Pope’s authority continually fought against and struggled with the authorities of others in Europe. Although it is an older idea, it is present throughout the large history of Europe which is why it deserves more of a place than the ideas of papal authority or Petrine Supremacy. (Palmer 17)
