This can be applied to how many believe, based on reports and coverage by much of mainstream media, that if a child plays a game that lets him kill people, he will be torturing puppies within a month and on the electric chair for mass murder within a year. The ruling class of CNN, Fox, NBC, and the like cause most who are under the umbrella of their viewers to believe that 30 hours of Grand Theft Auto becomes 30 years in prison because people are stupid and if they do something nasty in real life, they must have practiced somewhere.
