Winkler contracted to release the Alice Comedies, and this date became the formal beginning of The Walt Disney Company. Through the years, it has produced many famous and influential characters, such as: Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Donald Duck, Pluto, Daisy Duck, and more.
