The Scientific Revolution was important to world history because it changed how people saw the world. The scientific revolution was the start of modern science, the study of astronomy, biology, chemistry, mathematics, and physics. Before the revolution, many people believed that science was controlled by God and that it was a waste of time to try and figure out how the world worked. During the Renaissance, ideas spread and peoples ideas on religion shifted people could start to think outside the box of religion and start the study of how things work. Many famous artists such as Da Vinci also study science which led to many new inventions and progression of technology.
