Descripción:
Oswald T. Avery showed that DNA is the molecule responsible for organisms passing down specific traits amongst organisms. Avery demonstrated that chemical remnants from dead virulent bacteria had the ability to create virulence in the non-virulent strains of bacteria. This is what lead Avery to further analysis of what chemical was responsible, which in time had shown to be the work of DNA (deoxynucleic acid).
