17 abr 1917 año - German Corpse Factory Hoax

Descripción:

In 1917, two British newspapers, The Times and the Daily Mail, published articles claiming that the Germans were "boiling" war dead to make animal feed, soap and other products. There was no truth to the story; it was pure propaganda, aimed to horrify people and to encourage the Chinese to enter World War I on the side of the Allies. The false story had dire consequences during World War II as the horrors of the concentration camps were initially dismissed as more lies by the British.
