Mike and I weathered the near divorce and plan our first trip, alone, out-of-the country and leave our girls with my parents and his mom.

When my parents get my girls, Syd become sick. Our last two nights in Barbados, and our Sydney girl is in and out of the emergency room for a "virus".

As soon as we get to my parents, we took Syd back to the hospital. She was admitted and confirmed for viral meningitis - we endured our scariest three nights as parents and Syd gradually got better.
