1 mar 1970 año - US Postal Workers Strike
Descripción:
This eight-day strike started in New York City. It is one of the few strikes that directly opposes the federal government. It is also the largest "wildcat strike" in American history. Postal workers also picketed. Eventually, Nixon had to send in the National Guard to stop the strike so the mail would be delivered.
Resolution: The Postal Reorganization Act was signed into law and the American Postal Workers Union was allowed to form to prevent future strikes.
Reasons:
-No benefits
