The zoot suit riots was a conflict between mexican american youth and U.S servicemen of LA. The whites of LA began to blame these youth Latinos and minorities for various crimes in the city. Eventually this lead to the brutal assaults on these minorities for no good reasons. This was one of the most racist acts in U.S history and developed the path towards equality.
