1.War Guilt Clause
-accept the complete blame of WW1
2.Territorial Reductions (lost a lot of land)
-Territories that belonged to Germany & Austria were redistributed amongst the Allied Powers
>lost all overseas colonies
>lost Alsace-Lorraine & profits from Saar Coal region to France
>Poland given independent access to sea
>not allowed to unite with Austria (become largest & most powerful if done)
3.Self-determination
-Austria-Hungary can govern themselves
4.Reparations
-pay compensation to damage
-6,600 million pounds (British currency)
5.Demilitarisation
-army limited to 100,000 men
-navy limited to 15,000 men
-no airforce, tanks, submarines
6.Formation of the League of Nations (LON)
-set up to maintain world peace
