- German princes became free from control by the HRE
- The United Provinces [Dutch Netherlands] became officially independent
- France received most German- speaking province of Alsace
- Sweden got land in Northern Germany on the Baltic & Black sea
-Calvinists got the same privileges as Lutherans had in Peace of Augsburg
- The ruler of each state could determine official religion
MOST IMPORTANT:
→Established Sovereignty of Nations: countries are not supposed to meddle in other countries' business- still supposed to be happening today

France comes out as the true power, but Germany is fragemented and weak.
