This 1917 Chevrolet Series 490 began life as a Touring Car. In the early 1920s, its owner - Clarence B. Ramser of St. Joseph, Missouri, converted it into its presented 'Speedster' race car configuration. It was raced on local dirt tracks in the Missouri and Kansas area, until it was sold in the 1930s. The car was disassembled and stored in a barn near Belleville, Kansas where it would remain until it was discovered by Keenan Elliott in 2005. The current owner acquired it in 2007.
