Claude Garamond (1480–1561) worked cutting types for Robert Estinee in the 15th century. Garamond punches made their way to the printing office of Christoph Plantin in Antwerp, where they were used by Plantin for many decades, and still exist in the Plantin-Moretus museum.Añadido al timeline:
