most teaching done in this time period was done by mentors who taught their apprentices the trade that the want to learn. A good teacher in this time,one would attend church every Sunday and be a pillar of the community. The only other teachers were in dame schools and they were single women who brought kids into her home for her to teach them basic education for a price.
