The battle of Princeton occurred in January 3, 1773 near Princeton, New Jersey. On the colonists side of the battle, George Washington led about 7,000 Americans, and on the British side of the battle General Lord Cornwallis led about 8,000 British soldiers. The victor of the battle of Princeton was the Americans by out maneuvering the British armies tactics.
