The Franklin Stove was named after Benjamin Franklin and was intended to more heat and less smoke than the stoves that were around at the time. In addition it was invented so it used less wood. Lastly it was cast iron as well as commonly placed in the middle of a room so it would radiate heat.Añadido al timeline:
