1 ene 1768 año - The Townshend Acts
Descripción:
The Townshend Acts were part of a series of laws established by Parliament, England's chief law-making body, which stated that colonists will have to pay tax on products brought in from Britain. Furthermore, this series of laws also suspended actions of the New York Assembly in order to prevent independent government action throughout the colonies. This concept of certain laws that affected the colonists individually was proposed by a man named Charles Townshend.
