This gathering was made famous by American attorney Patrick Henry's words of liberty, which emphasized the colonist's struggle of oppression due to the British monarch. Patrick Henry's exact words were, "Give me liberty, or give me death," which even further motivated the colonists to go against Britain and gain their freedom.
