700 British red coats against 77 militiamen gathered, the militiamen on one side and the red coats on the other. One of the British yelled at the militiamen to throw their fire arms down, then it went quiet and there was a gun that was fired. This event is named "The shot heard around the world". To this day no one knows who fired the shot.
