Shay´s Rebellion was a group of angry farmers that stormed the Springfield arsenal and it took two weeks to get the rebellion under control. All they wanted was equal representation in the British government because they were paying taxes. This affected the constitutional convention because they had to think about how they wanted to punish people and what they wanted to punish them for. If they chose not to punish them then what does that say about the country, but if they do then they don´t want to make it to harsh that people won´t want to be a part of their country and move to Britain.
