The Boston Tea Party took place on December 16, 1773. The Boston Tea Party was due to the Tea Act and the influence of the Sons of Liberty. The Boston Tea Party regarded the dumping of 342 chests of tea into the Boston Harbor by the Sons of Liberty disguised as Mohawk Indians.
