a law passed by parliament in 1765 that required the colonies to house and supply British Soldiers. The quartering act was a law requiring that colonists house and supply soldiers sent to america. This law affected everyone in the colonies because most all people there owned a house to get soldiers in. The colonists' reaction was resistance the payment needed for the soldiers.
