France occupies the Ruhr, following the pinnacle of inflation in Germany, crippling them to an extent where they can no longer supply France with its instalments from the Treaty of Versailles.

The Ruhr region would go on to be a positive asset towards the French economy, considered a hub for its coal and steel production capabilities.

It is here where not only was Germany facing pinnacle inflation in the economy, but also the pinnacle of its resentment towards the government. Hitler and his Nationalist views would become more and more heard throughout the streets of Germany.
