This ancestor's name means "Handyman," because they were the first stone toolmakers. They still did not hunt, but they found meat, and were the first meat-eaters. They also started to look a lot more human, and had an expansion in brain size from Australopithecus. They lived 2.5 to 1.5 million years ago, so they overlapped Homo Erectus. Based on the simple stone tools they made, AND the video, I can infer that they started to be able to look at the world in a different way, and think, "How can I make my life easier or be able to do something new?" This shows that they had a much bigger brain capacity, and could think about how to improve their lives. Homo Habilis also stayed in Africa, and never moved out.
