Our ancestor Homo Habilis were scavengers. They did eat meat but they did not hunt. They were the first of our ancestors to make tools, although the tools were made of stone and were very simple. Scientist have only found bones of Homo Habilis in Africa which shows that they had not started to leave Africa yet. These tools show that Homo Habilis had more advanced brains and they used tools for tasks that would not be possible without those tools.*Becoming Human Video
