The Niagara Movement was a civil rights organization for blacks and was run by the leaders, W. E. B. Du Bois and William Monroe Trotter. This group wanted racial equality when it came to voting, legal change, economic, and education. They believed that if blacks got liberal education, that they would become strong leaders which gave them an extra chance at a making a change.
