21 jun 1788 año - Constitution Passes as Law

Descripción:

The Constitution splits the government into three branches. The Executive Branch, the President, has the ability to veto Congress' laws, is in charge of diplomacy, gets to appoint the Cabinet & Supreme Court Justices, and is elected by the Electoral College. The Legislative Branch, Congress, has the ability to pass laws, override a presidential veto with a 2/3 majority, ratify treaties, approve cabinet members, and approve Supreme Court Justices. The judicial branch is appointed for life by the President, approved by the Senate, and is the highest court in the land. The court later gains the ability to rule federal laws unconstitutional with Marbury v. Madison.
