Joey and his team end up losing the championship game because of his poor pitching and failure to come up with a clutch hit. On top of that, he realizes that , he realizes that he would've had huge chance to make it onto the Summer All Star Team if he'd done better, as well as blowing a big game while the girl he likes, Leah, was watching from the stands. Not to mention the fact that his mom, who is a justice obsessed cop, is starting to investigate who tampered with Mr. Kratz's truck. And she might figure out that it was him.
