In 1970, newly assigned to Roma, coach Nils Liedholm put his faith in young players. The strategy paid off as Roma finished third during the 1974-75 season. Liedholm also made another smart move - building the training centre ‘Fulvio Bernardini di Trigoria’, which remains Roma’s home training centre to this day.
