A 9.3 Earthquake occurred off the west coast of the island of Sumatra in Indonesia. This caused several tsunamis up to 30 ft in height and they absolutely devastated many places along the Indian Ocean. More than 200,000 people died and the world donated the us equivalent of 14 billion in us dollars.
