Apple's App Store was quite successful, but at first, it didn't have a single app, but within a short period of time, it had hundreds of apps.It was used on the original iPhone. The customer needed an acoount and with that, they could safely shop for apps on a unified service. The App Store is still used today across all iOS devices.
