Overlaid 3 filters (magenta, cyan and yellow) over black and white to create the first coloured film. Major milestone as it was one of the first moves away from the traditional black and white films that had become the ‘norm’ in film making. Also demonstrated the progression of technology an what was to come in the 20th century.
