The British decided to get the money that they had invested for the colonies by taxing them on one of the most common goods-paper. Parliament decided to pass a law that meant that all paper in the colonies had to have a special British seal to show that the paper was from Britain and approved by King George III. This enraged the colonists , so they decided to boycott the paper and attack tax collectors. Eventually, the act was repealed, but that was the start to another flurry of British enragements to the colonies...Añadido al timeline:
