In April 1847 the first group of settlers left and headed to the west side of California trail. Brigham Young led a group of 2 children , 3 women and 143 men. They traveled on horses or inside oxen pulled wagons for 3 months; Then on July 22 the first men entered in the Salt Lake valley!
