after being harassed by "mormon Guerillas", Jonsthon's army (washington) was forced into a camp called camp scott. eventually there were negotiations made and they moved to a place close to Cedar Valley, and 40 miles away from the mormom center. They originally were supposed to be an occupying force, they made themselves isolated from the rest of the state for a while, but they managed to build thir own civilization to live off of it for about 3 years, and created camp Floyd.
