13 dic 1859 año - Louis Pasteur Tries (and Succeeds) Debunking The Theory of Spontaneous Generation
Descripción:
Spontaneous generation is an idea from the 1600's that assumes that life can be created from basically nothing, like mice from wheat and underwear being together or worms from mud. Pasteur tried multiple experiments to disprove it, starting with one open and one sealed flask, then one where the entry was open but heated, then his eventual success with the swan-neck flask.
