In 1567 Rudolf ii was crowned Holy Roman Empire. Rudolf ll is regarded as the start of the Hapsburg dynasty. The Habsburg was a family that married into almost every country in europe. This includes Kingdom of Austria, Archduchy of Austria, Kingdom of Hungary, Kingdom of Bohemia, Kingdom of Croatia and History of Transylvania. In modern day the land they would have controlled would be Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland and Ukraine.
