Z, X, and Stefani arrive at a Hybrid Testing facility, where they are split up. X and Stefani break out everyone except the top ward, where Z has met a damaged girl named Rona. Rona looks up to Z as her hero, as he teaches her about history, and how to read. Z is broken out against his will by X and Stefani. He escapes their grasps and Folds 18 years into the future of the facility, where he finds Rona, in charge of the scientists. They speak, but she is murdered in a rebellion. Z mourns her, buries her properly and moves on with X and Stefani.
