6 jun 2002 año - The main law that sponsors protection of children and juveniles, “Protection of Juveniles in Conflict with the Law or at Risk” (No 422/2002), was activated. This law gives the Union for the Protection of Juveniles in Lebanon (UPEL) a fundamental role and powers enabling it to intervene in protecting them.
