The main distinction between Early Modern English and Late Modern English lies in the vocabulary, most of the grammar, pronunciation and spelling remained unchanged. A majority of this expansion of vocabulary occurred due to a large historical event, being the Industrial Revolution, which occurred between the late 18th century and the early 19th century.
