When I wash dishes for dinner, I am being impacted by the social and economic dimensions of globalization. The dishwasher we have is Korean in origin, being from a Korean market opened to Canadian buyers, while the tide pods we use in the dishwasher are a product of an American company. In having these products, we are affected by globalization, as without globalization, we would lack these products and the efficiency or lower prices they bring over Canadian models.
